Australian Property Monitors (APM) has released a list of results from 471 auctions in Sydney for the weekend of November 9. The preliminary clearance rate was 83.7%.

After publishing our poll yesterday asking whether video presentations are a good technique to shift a stale listing, and whether you would look for real estate agents that provide this service, the results were clear.

Investment bank UBS says the Australian housing market is not at risk of becoming a bubble and is instead warming up.

“Solid” Weekend Auction Results

Analysts are growing more confident of a sustained recovery in the property market following yet another strong weekend of auction clearance rates, with over two-thirds of residential properties selling at auction in Melbourne and Sydney.
